Biz Tip: Featuring Photos on the Web

Four Easy Steps!
The Midwest Animal Shelter uses the Web to find new homes for dogs. You can get your photos on the Web too. Here's how:

Step 1. Scan your special photo.

Step 2. Open your photo in Adobe Photoshop and crop to the size you want. (If needed, use "Image: Adjust" to improve the quality).

Step 3. Drag-and-drop your photo from Adobe Photoshop into your Adobe PageMill window. (Adobe PageMill automatically creates the GIF file you need.)

Step 4. Add your own design effects and text in Adobe PageMill.

Once your page is on the Web, be sure to keep it fresh by adding your latest photos. The Midwest Animal Shelter Web site has a nice touch: photos of happy owners with their new pets.
