It's an epidemic!
The Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network really has its finger on the pulse of Web publishing!

By converting sought-after clinical guidelines into Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files for the Web, the group makes the info available - anytime - with all the integrity of the originals.

You too can convert and publish your important documents to Adobe PDF from nearly any application using Adobe Acrobat 3.0 or with Adobe PageMaker's export to PDF feature.

Here's how:

Step 1. Start with your original document - in this case in Adobe PageMaker - and simply select: File / Export / Adobe PDF to create a .pdf file on your desktop.

Step 2. Add the .pdf file to your Web layout - in this case using Adobe PageMill. You can create a simple text link to the PDF, or, use a special icon to give readers a visual cue as we show here.

Step 3. Open the finished page on the Web in your browser. Your readers, using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader, will click on the PDF and automatically launch the original document inside the browser window.

And with Acrobat's great features - such as zoom and search - your readers can get right to the heart of the information they need.

But watch out! Adobe PDFs are contagious!
