Let's make some noise! Have you been wanting to spice up your
site with some sound but weren't sure how to do it? This tip
is for you. We're going to walk you through the process of embedding
a sound file originally created as a simple imageless QuickTime(TM)
movie and then show you how to make it either visible or invisible.
One of the great advantages of using QuickTime movies on the
Web is their simplicity; there's no need for any special plug-ins
or special applications. All you need is the QuickTime 2.1 extension
for Macintosh(R) or QuickTime 2.1.2 for Windows(TM), plus the
QuickTime plug-in for the browser of your choice and you're ready
to go. (PageMill's installer will put the QuickTime
plug-in in its plug-in folder by default for both Mac and Windows). |
