This month inaugurates the shipment of our new line of premium fountain pens: the Fleetwood models. As those of you know who have been instrumental in the design, manufacture, and marketing of these beautiful, precision-built products, this line features 24 karat gold engraved nibs and barrels of exotic woods, such as cocolobo, koa, ironwood, and cinchona. Instruments normally used for the manufacture of surgical equipment were employed to create the nibs and the ink feed mechanisms. Some models actually required more than 50 coats of hand-applied varnishes to achieve the flawless perfection customers expect from the Stylus Pen Company.

Because of the extraordinary level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into the production of these pens, Stylus has already been awarded the Best New Product of the year by the World Commission on Fountain Pens. Congratulations to the men and women of Stylus. This award belongs to you for you dedication and outstanding work now recognized by international authorities. In honor of this remarkable event, all employees will be given a 10% bonus in the their next paycheck and be given an extra vacation day. Thank you for your continued commitment to excellence.
