Upon signing up and requesting the Trellix Website Builder we will send you a CD.

The following process applies to the fully automatic Trellix program.

Step 1: set up a directory name of your choice.Prerequisite: copy Trellix from the CD to your computer desktop. Drag your downloaded Trellix to that directory.

In that directory click on the image (the image shown below)

Trellix opens the installer of your website. You are offered three choices on this icon: 1) The wizard 2) Start with template 3) Open existing website. In our case we choose the wizard:

Step 2: The website wizard automatically opens (as shown below). This page asks "what type of site do you want?" Personal, Photo, Organization, etc. In example "a site for business" starts with pages that describe what you have to offer..

Step 3: Name your site: Company Name, address, email, and logo etc..

Step 4: Next choose the look of your website. Right now you are roughing it in (just as a house is roughed in), You can change the look later.

Step 5: On this page you will be picking the pages you wish to add to your website by making check marks in the appropriate squares. You must include the first page which will be your home page.

To change names of the pages to different names use the title bar and place the new name into it. The black area with the tree can be used to get from page to page. It can also be removed later. The top line menu bar has all the options available to you to make any changes you wish to make, which will not interfere with an automatic finished product.

Step 6: Here you can change the order of the pages around if you wish.

Step 6: Now it is time to enter text on the various pages starting with the main "home" page. On the right hand side you will be adding. Remember you are simply roughing in the website. There will be ample opportunity to add to the pages whatever you wish later.

Step 7: The final page asks you to add the Trellix Logo if you want. The "Mind It" icon is obsolete. No reason to add it since that service is not available.

Step 8: Congratulations, your website is built. Now is the time to refine the pages with graphics and whatever content you planned. For instance on the left light purple area could go company logo or a photo or whatever to enhance it. In the darker purplse area goes the name of your website. This site has six pages. The links developed are: "About Us", "News and Events", "Location", "Contact Us", "Our Products and Services" Simply click on a link to go to page you wish to see and work on.

The black area that keeps track of the file tree is only for information purposes. It can be made to disappear by clicking on the right hand black square in the line directly over the black area.
